رحلة Rehla

"Rehla" means "journey".
A journey through space and time, through cultures and styles, but also within oneself.
A compendium of human feelings , archetypes and passions through dance.
That is what this performance is about.
About floating from one quality to another, travelling through different moods, telling the story of people from no man’s land and yet so rooted on the earth.
It reflects the dancer's research that involves different dance styles (middle eastern, contemporary, North African, South Italian folk dances) and a way to bring it on stage more as a dancing human being than as a dancer. Vulnerability rather than perfection, true feelings rather than "playing pretend".
